Adi Shankaracharya’s works
Composed by the great saint Sri Adi Shankaracharya, Bhaja Govindam is one of the most lucid yet insightful works of Vedanta. Some of the other magnificent works on Vedanta by Adi Shankaracharya are the Vivekachudamani and Atmabodha. He combined his scientific knowledge of the subject with deep devotion to produce brilliant compositions.

Worship the Spirit ,worship the Spirit, worship the Spirit, O Fool! For grammar rules (material pursuits) will not protect you when the appointed time arrives.

O Fool, abandon the greed for acquiring wealth. Entertain the thought of Reality in the mind, free from passion. Let the mind be content with whatever wealth you obtain by your own actions.

Do not get infatuated seeing a lady’s bosom or navel. It is a modification of flesh, fat, etc. Reflect in your mind over and over again.

As water on a lotus leaf is very unstable, life is extremely unsteady. Know that the whole world is stricken with disease and arrogance and afflicted with sorrow.
