MI: Mind Intellect Print E-mail

Guest Article by Abhishek Thakore

The chariot of my life, was driven by my mind

Slumbering lay my intellect, making me internally blind

An easy way to live, letting everything go to the heart

Highs were high, lows were low, Living, a forgotten art

Till I called to that dormant force, that wisdom that lay within,

A power to discriminate, judge, my own internal formula to win.

Now the rules of the kingdom have changed, I haven't dethroned the mind

But while I let it stay at the fore, the intellect supervises from behind

There will be conflicts, differences... the mind, a bird savours its catch

Sometimes joy & sorrow at times, the intellect will sit back and detach

So there it is the secret to life, midst all that struggle and strife

Live a life of righteous act and deed, let the mind run wild, to the intellect you heed
