Sit down with a piece of paper when your mind is calm and you have some time to yourself. Think back on your life and identify fields that excited you right from the time you were a child. What is it that you dreamt of doing? What was is it that inspired you? Write everything down. You may end up with six or seven points. Give yourself a break and after two or three weeks, revisit the same thing and start afresh without referring what you wrote down the first time. Repeat this exercise four to five times and you will find one or two things that keep coming up again and again. That’s your shortlist and between these two things you select one that is most powerful. So, if you follow your Svadharma, it is easier for you to be happy in it, to excel in it, and grow spiritually.
